The Prestonian

Thank you brothers for the confidence you have shown in me by electing Rail-Roading me to the post of Junior Cavalier for the upcoming year.  It should prove to be a great one.

For those who don't know:

“The Prestonian” is a table lodge which meets bi-monthly at the Scottish Rite Center in Tacoma.  Table Lodges have a long history in Masonry going back to the 19th Century.  This lodge has its own code and ritual, and meets for these purposes:

1.     To engage in Masonic Education
2.     To engage in civilized debate upon Masonic subjects
3.     To enjoy the fellowship of the festive board
4.     To toast, with appropriate ceremony and beverage, worthy institutions, worthy causes, and worthy Brethren
5.     To enjoy all other benefits which accrue to men who are Freemasons

Ladies are welcomed and first-time guests are hosted for the repast.  “The Prestonian” has had very interesting speakers in the past, including ladies who are affiliated with Masonic related organizations.

If you would like to know more about The Prestonian, please don't hesitate to contact me.
